How Are The Numbers 93 and 36 Combined To Create Misery?

Oh, let me tell you. Today, the temperature was 93 degrees AND the humidity is at 36%. We've had such gorgeous weather for most of Spring, that I'm just a wimp when it comes to this heat and humidity. I hope I get acclimatized quickly, but until then....

.... I want to CUT OFF MY HAIR!

Why, you ask? Again, let me tell you.

1. My hair hates humidity. It's pointless for me to spend time washing, blowdrying, and curling my hair when, two seconds after it's exposed to heat and humidity, it's completely straight and just looks generally awful.

2. My hair feels like a giant and wooly blanket on my neck.

Yes, I should not complain. After all, I looked up the weather in Bangkok. It's supposed to be 91 degrees there today, but with a 67% humidity, which makes the temperature feel like 103 degrees.

Yeah, no more complaining from this little wimp. I have an air conditioned house, office, and car.

:-)

Oh, I can totally sympathize. I thought after being in Africa for three months, I'd just adjust right into summer here. Ha! guess I'm a wimp too. :D

Long hair can drive you to distraction sometimes.

You should move to North Dakota...we have cooler temps 9 months out of the year (of course 8 of those are classified as winter). Further, we only have -on average - 3 days a year that are over 90 degrees. LOL!

Ah yes, but if I lived in NoDak, then I would complain about how cold it was. See, it has to do with a benefit v. detriment analysis. Although I must face heat and humidity in MD, there are plenty of benefits to offset those inconveniences. However, in ND, what is there to offset the 8 months of winter? :)

huh...am I not a benefit? *head on desk, sobbing*

fine...how about low crime?

and your pocketbook would be safe...no chance of finding any shoe shops...or other shops...oh, wait...we're getting a Kohl's! I'll need to move! :)

Nasty, Nasty weather. Just think to yourself, "At least I do not live in TX....at least I do not live in TX" and suddenly everything about MD looks beautiful.
