Articulation and Formulation

I saw this Hallmark card a long time ago that had a list of "Words That Are Fun To Say" and "Words That Are Not Fun To Say". It's interesting to me how there can be emotional impact just from saying a word- not necessarily in the meaning, but in the formulation and articulation. I loved that card. And ever since then, I've been compiling my own list.

WORDS THAT ARE FUN TO SAY

vacation
hug
bliss
yummy
adore
indubitably
epic
crikey
heinous
smarmy

WORDS THAT ARE NOT FUN TO SAY

betrayal
slug
paralyzed
hypocrite
dreary
failure
lonely
slime
stuck

Perhaps this strikes you as weird. Maybe it is. But do you have a word that you just like saying?

Strangely enough, I like the word 'hush.' Whenever I say it, it makes me feel all peaceful, warm and snuggly inside. :) Especially, when you softly draw out the 'sh' sound, like you would when you are soothing a baby to sleep. Aaahhh...makes me want to take a nap! :D

You got my point exactly, R. Another word I find fun to say is "pontificate". The word itself is a bit pompous which adds to its connotation. Hushhhhh. I like it.
