Attitude

"I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances."

I was going to tell you who said this, but why don't you guess? I'll add a hint tomorrow. :) She must have read the Bible.

Ok, REALLY like this quote! I was going to say Helen Keller, because she said something very similar to this that I've read before. A quick Google search proved me wrong though... :) I won't spoil it for the others. ;)

No clue who said it but it sure hits a few nails on the head!

Ah, Rachy, I figured you'd google it. Or whichever is your preferred search engine. As for a hint, she was a first lady.

Cheated and looked this one up - wouldn't have guessed her (even with the hint). I like the quote a lot - it's so true!
