33% Done!

Hey All-

Just wanted to let you know I made it through the first day-- yippee! Thanks again for your concern and prayers.. I truly believe it made a difference.

Today went really well... it was a little easier than I anticipated, which is always a good thing. :) The essay subjects were Torts, Constitutional Law, and Contracts... which was only partly according to the predictions. (For those of you unfamiliar with law or the Bar Exam, that won't mean much--sorry!) I think the Lord was especially in the fact that there was a Contracts essay... it's not typically on the summer Bar Exam and it's been one of my stronger subjects lately. So, that was interesting and a pleasant surprise.

I had a moment of panic... when I was launching the Exam software, one of the instructions said that if your applicant number was not in this particular window, you would be required to write the exam. Well, lo and behold, my applicant number was NOT in that little window! Instantly, my heart is racing and I'm about to freak out. I was thinking there was NO WAY I was writing this exam!! I finally just figured out that I had to select the right exam and then my applicant number "magically" appeared. *breathing deeply* The instructions for the afternoon session were corrected. :)

So, anyhoo, tomorrow is the dreaded MBE-- 100 multiple choice questions each in the morning and afternoon. I did a lot... and I do mean A LOT of practice questions, so I'm ready to do it. I'm relying on the Lord's strength.

Thanks again for your prayers. Pray that I will continue to rely on the Lord and not be fearful. I'd also love to have a solid night's rest tonight. :)

Love To All--

- Julie -
