West Coast

Hey from the very hot state of California! (It was supposed to be typical lovely So. Cal. weather! But hey, I'll be inside for most of my time here, so I guess it doesn't matter in the end.)

I'm sitting in my hotel room, less than a mile from the testing site, and about 15 hours from the start of the much anticipated test.

I did want to say a huge THANKS to all those praying for me... I'm not sure I've ever had so many people praying for me at once. I do sincerely appreciate it and I'm honestly humbled by it. I know I could not do this without the Lord's help.

The test is from 9a-12n and 2-5pm (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

I am feeling quite calm (praise the Lord!!), mostly just ready to get it over with. Please pray that I'll get a good night's sleep tonight and that everything will go smoothly tomorrow.

Praise the Lord for:

- a smooth flight here (after flying to Thailand, this was a short and sweet flight!)
- safety on the road (driving on the freeways of So.Cal. has been quite an experience!)
- good church services on Sunday
- friends and family
- prayer partners
- air conditioning (!!!!)
- not getting lost
- a hotel room near the testing site (when I originally called to book a room, every hotel around the Convention Center was full.. I called the day before I left and found a room closer than my first reservation!)


Thanks again for your prayers and please continue! I am so blessed to have the Lord at my side and friends and family supporting me.
