I believe those of us living in the general vicinity of the North and East never take for granted the beautiful colors of Fall. I love this season and its colors because it always reminds me of the Creator's handiwork. No way evolution could produce such inspiring beauty.

I unintentionally started a Fall tradition: every year around this time, I head up to a local state park via this really fun-to-drive road. I tromp around in the leaves, trying to get the perfect shot. I'm not sure if you can ever truly capture the colors and the beauty, but it's sure fun to try.

Oh, it is breathtakingly gorgeous this year! But your pictures are much nicer than mine. :) We went up to Jim Thorpe for the afternoon, and there was still a lot of green around...but still pretty!
