If they talk like a gamer or hacker...You noob.
They constantly re-shift their glasses on their noses. L33t Rule!
Pocket protectors - and yes, I've seen them in purses too! *gasp*
Oh MAN, this is a hard one. I think Anon #1 is FriendX; Anon#2 is Jared D.; Anon#3 is Akalinear (i have no idea what L33t is!) and Anon#4 is Rachy. But then, I could be WAY off on all of them. :)
My answer would have been either out-of-style glasses or the inability to have a normal conversation with non-nerds. :)
Rachy is the gamer talk. Not that I talk like one, since I can hardly understand them (except noob..they seem to throw that at me a lot), but I think that is the biggest nerd indication. Maybe just because I know a couple. :)
